Sigga Heimis in Museum of Design and Applied Arts
On Saturday, 11th. of September, will open an exhibition of works by Sigga Heimis in Museum of Design and Applied Art. The exhibition provides an opportunity to see her varied design objects and learn about designer who work in an international environment.
Sigga Heimis is born in 1970 and is an industrial designer from IED and Domus in Milan, Italy. She has worked in different fields of industrial and product design. She was an in-house designer at IKEA for 7 years before she became a Design Manager at Fritz Hansen. Now has Sigga Heimis moved back to Iceland to focus on her own studio, Studio Sigga Heimis.
The exhibition will be open daily excepts Mondays, from 12-17, until 30th. January 2011.
